Please read the steps for washing your Sapphire Summers face mask - HANDWASH only.
 
Step 1. WASH THE FACE MASK WITH WARM WATER
Washing the mask by hand is very simple and quick and is easily done in the bathroom sink. The mask should not be washed in a washing machine, it is a delicate material that will shrink in very hot water, lose its colour and will also be damaged and ruined if tumble dryed. Therefore please gently wash the face mask by hand in warm water.
 
2. RUB GENTLY WITH SOAP
Rub in some handsoap (or powder or liquid made specifically for hand washing) on both sides of the mask. You can use any kind of liquid soap as long as it is a gentle. Leave to soak for ten minutes if you wish.  Silk must be treated gently when washing in this way.
 
3. WRING OUT EXCESS WATER
Once you have finished washing the mask, roll it up a little and squeeze out the excess water gently between your fingers and thumbs. Or better still you can place inside a towel and roll it up to remove the excess water - this will help it to dry quicker.
 
4. HANG THE MASK TO AIR DRY
Next dry the mask in the open air at home using a standard drying rack or surface which will preserve the fabric.
 
Silk Masks are lovely to wear, breathable and mush softer than cotton or polyester, and kinder to the skin. But care must be taken when washing to preserve the colour and fabric. So please follow these steps ☺️
